Defending champions Enfield gained revenge for their derby defeat earlier in the season with a 50 run win at Thorneyholme Road.
Keith Windle made an unbeaten 48, adding 40 with Mark Whelan (12) for the 5th wicket and an unbroken 25 for the 8th wicket with Colin Farrow who smashed quick-fire unbeaten 21. Dave Parsons again picked up the opposition professional when he had Madan Lal superbly caught by Tony Gallagher at mid on for 2 in picking up 4-39.
David Stanley proved to be Enfield's match winner, taking 6-11 to wreck the Accrington innings as the home side collapsed from 50-2 to 72 all out. Lal took 3-31 with Graham Beech (20), John Swanney (15) and Alan Richardson (13) the only men in double figures. Scorecard
