Todmorden got their revenge for their defeat at Thorneyholme Road three weeks previously with a 5 wicket win at Centre Vale. Home professional Mohsin Khan took 6-54 and Bob Whitaker 4-43 to dismiss Accrington for 126 with Graham Beech making 15, Malcolm Taylor 33, John Swanney 26 and Alan Kennedy 20. Todmorden were outstanding in the field with Phil Morgan, Tony Gledhill and Alan Fiddling holding superb catches. Khan then hit an unbeaten 58 to steer his side to victory with good support from Alan Fiddling (17) and Phil Morgan (16). Accrington skipper Ian Birtwistle took 3-58. Scorecard
