Professional Alan Worsick took a hat-trick in Accrington's 3 wicket win over Enfield in a low scoring local derby at Thorneyholme Road. Worsick took 6-34, Dave Parsons 2-6 and Tony Gallagher 2-36 as Enfield were dismissed for 76. Bill Haworth, Peter Holt and Chris Ryan all fell to Worsick in his second hat-trick in this competition. Dik Abed led Enfield's fightback taking 5-37 but Accrington staggered over the line with opener Geoff Hayhurst top scoring with 20.
