Church 112-8, Accrington 111
Church reached the final for the first time since 1954 by beating Accrington by 2 wickets at West End. It was Jack Houldsworth who did the damage, taking 6-31 as Accrington were dismissed for 111. Alan Worsick top scored with 25 and then took 7-37, including his first hat-trick, but the home side edged to victory with 15 balls to spare with the experienced Geoff Briggs hitting an unbeaten 18 after Ken Arthur had made 34 and Barry Wilson 30 before Worsick removed them both.
