The Dewhurst brothers again combined to give Accrington a 5 wicket derby win at Enfield. Roy hit 35 and skipper Lindon an unbeaten 31 with Frank Drinkwater picking up 4-46 after the home side had been bowled out for 94. Professional Bobby Simpson took 4-13 with six Enfield batsmen making double figure scores but no-one going on to play the big innings needed to build a decent total. Scorecard
