Accrington A and All Stars played out an exciting tie at Thorneyholme Road. On a lively wicket the visitors were dismissed for 107 after being in deep trouble at 36-6 but Khizar Rehman (25), Rashid (15) and Share Rehman (12) all chipped in with valuable contributions to take All Stars up to 107 all out. Imran Hussain (3-25) and Tom Pendergast (3-44) were the home sides best bowlers. Accrington made a steady start but went from 39-3 to 75-8 with paceman Khizer Hayatt taking 5-44. Bernard Goslett hit 19 to take the home side to the verge of victory when he was bowled going for the winning hit. Accrington needed just one to win off the final over with 9 wickets down but a run out off the fifth ball meant that the match ended in a tie. League leaders Gujar Khan had an important win over defending champions Kashmir at King Georges. Arshad Mahmood (48), Shakoor Ali (37 not out), Mazar Khan (29) and Nadeem Ashraf (29) took Gujar Khan to 193-7 with Gul Khan taking 3-56 for Kashmir. Gul top scored with 39 but Mazar took 3-51 as Kashmnir fell 16 runs adrift on 177-8. Attock really had Clayton Youth Club in a spin as the Haslingden based side cruised to a 117 win. Spinners Khyber Shah (5-10), Tanveer Shah (2-2) and Liaquat Khan (2-16) bowled the Youth Club out for 51 after hitting 168-9 earlier in the day. Tanveer Shah (47 not out), Tanveer Ahmed (32), Abrar Shah (31) hit the runs for Attock with Darren Robinson (3-32) and Simon Hargreaves (3-48) taking three wickets each for Clayton.
