Harry Wood Cup holders Attock eased through to the semi finals with 78 run win over Taverners. Liaquat Khan (48) and Tanveer Shah (34) took the holders to 184-9 with David Swift (3-49) and Shabir Fazal (3-39) being Taverners best bowlers. Liaquat then took 3-9 and Kashif Anwar 3-23 as Taverners were dismissed for 106, Dwane Cox making 35.

Accrington A won their first match of the season at the expense of Clayton Youth Club. Accrington made 191-9 with Dave Hargreaves (51) making his maiden half century for the club. The former Accrington Stanley striker put on 50 with Bernard Goslet. Skipper Zed Hussain chipped in with 33. Ian Spence (61) hit his maiden ADCL half century, but Clayton were dismissed for 132. Abbas Akhbar took 3-22 for the 2001 winners.

Gujar Khan beat All Stars by 6 wickets at King Georges. Riaz Mohammed 38 in All Stars 138 with A. Khan taking 5-26 for Gujar Khan. Z. Ali (42 not out) and Nadeem Ashraf (38) ensured that Gujar Khan made the semi finals.

The semi finals will be played on Sunday June 29th. Accrington A take on Gujar Khan at Wilsons with Attock facing Kashmir at King Georges in repeat of last seasons final.
