Whalley Road had an easy 7 wicket win over Accrington A at Bullough Park. Accrington struggled to 105-7 with Paul Burrows again showing his liking for Whalley Road's bowling with 38 and Tom Pendergast hit an unbeaten 19. Former Manchester Roaders Dave Heys (2-9) and Paul Gateson (2-12) picked up a couple of wickets each. Heys then hit an unbeaten 26 with Alan Clark (29) and ex Accringtonian Paul Schofield (26) also taking advantage of a weakened bowling attack.
