Kashmir made sure of the crown by defeating Accrington A by 7 wickets on King Georges. Nadeem Mohammed took 4-23 against his old club who were dismissed for 82. Last man Mick Donnelly hit an unbeaten 27, including five boundaries as the score gained some semblance of respectability from 33-7. Kashmir lost prolific opener Mushtaq Ahmed without scoring but Gul Nawaz hit an unbeaten 42 to ensure that Kashmir took the league title.
