v Clayton Youth Club
The ever reliable Mick Donnelly and Tom Pendergast turned in match winning performances that were much needed against a Clayton Youth Club side that continues to improve. The captain hit 62 in his sides 117-5 with Tom scoring an unbeaten 19 and taking 6-32, including a diving caught and bowled in his first over. (If you don't believe it, the trench is still there). Adam 'Shane' Donnelly took 3-31 with a mixture of full tosses and beamers that gave his Dad heart failure at short leg. Two other points to mention, the skipper also took three catches and the openers put on 52. It was in the end a good win considering the team lost players due to work commitments.
