Profile:
Adam joined Accrington in 1995 and worked his way through all the
senior sides to establish himself as the First Team's regular wicketkeeper
in 2002. Putting aside the disappointment of twice missing out on cup
final appearances in his younger days, Adam worked hard on his all round
game to improve both his wicketkeeping and his batting. Adam is now capable
of scoring useful runs down the order and is a reliable pair of hands
behind the sticks. In 2001 Adam won the Les and Margaret Martin Trophy
for Best Wicketkeeper, claiming 39 victims (28c, 11 st) in a total of
34 matches for the first, second and third teams.
