Chairman Len

At Monday night's AGM Rod Kenyon was elected as the club's new President replacing Elaine Birtwistle who has stepped down from the role. Rod had already notified the Committee at the end of last season of his intention to step down as Cricket Chairman after 14 years in the role. Rod was thanked by everyone for all that he had done during his time as Chairman. Lenny Dewhurst was elected as the new Cricket Chairman.

On being elected as new club President Rod said: It is a great honour to be elected as President and I would like to wish Lenny all the best in his new role as Cricket Chairman.'

New Chairman Lenny said: It is a great honour to take over the mantle of Cricket Chairman at the Club from Rod who has left the club on a solid foundation from where we can now push forward and further develop the club both on and off the field. We have a great set of players, supporters and volunteers who will continue to support each other in the coming season. At the moment the club has a good balance of experience and raw talent in the group of players we have and we are always looking to add to that group. Alongside this we have an experienced Professional in Karl Brown and coaches whose goal and direction is to develop this talent on the field and rise to the challenge of the 2019 season in the 1st Division. I would like to take this opportunity to invite new members, supporters, volunteers and players to join us on our journey.'

Mark Taylor and Stephen Davies were re-elected as Hon Secretary and Hon Treasurer respectively
