Accy Appoint New Skipper

Ross Brown has been appointed as club captain for the 2018 season.

The cricket committee were impressed with his ideas and his positive thoughts for the upcoming season.

The committee would again like to thank Simon Hanson for his efforts in 2017 and wish him all the best for 2018.

The cricket committee looking forward to working with Ross over the winter months to deliver a number of changes some of which have been in motion for the last two months.

These include appointing a professional, head coach, new selection policies, club development plan and better lines of communication throughout the club.

Len Dewhurst has been re-appointed as 2nd team captain and after a successful season in which we have started to see some of our younger prospects develop.

Len like Ross is very positive about the season ahead and is looking forward to working with Ross and the committee to establish a strong working relationship which will hopefully benefit the the club as a whole.
