Two Balls For Dibber One ball was to mark his 500th league wicket for Accrington at Ramsbottom on 30th April when he dismissed Martin Cropper and one to mark his 1,383rd and final Lancashire League wicket at Bacup on 13th August when he removed Tim Farragher. How fitting it was that his first and last Lancashire League wickets were both at Lanehead. Jacob Clarke picked up three awards. Jacob won the 1st XI Prize for Most Wickets, the Players Player of the Year Award and the Supporters Player of the Year. New skipper Ross Brown won the 1st XI Bowling Average Prize with former skipper Simon Hanson winning the 1st XI Prize for Most Runs. Keiren Grimshaw won the Batting Average Prize. In the 2nds all rounder Gul Khan won the prizes for Most Runs and Most Wickets. Raheem Kasser won the Bowling Average Prize. Andrew Greenwood was named Players Player of the Year and he also won the Batting Average Prize. Bailey Chamberlain won the Len Dewhurst Trophy for Most Improved 2nd XI Player. Players Player of the Year in the 3rd XI was Thomas Walker. Thomas also won the prize for Most Wickets. The prize for Most Runs was won by Aqeel Shah who's total of 385 runs was the most in a season by a 3rd XI player since 1987. Aqeel also won the Bowling Average Prize. Callum Dwyer won the Batting Average Prize. Ben Ross won the batting Prize in the Under 15s. Antonio Lo-Guidice won the Bowling Prize with Bailey Chamberlain being named Player of the Year. All the 6-8 year olds who came to the Monday night fun cricket sessions were presented with medals.
