Sponsored Walks

The club is organising two sponsored walks to raise money towards funding several urgent projects that need completing at the Club. The details are as follows:

SENIOR PLAYERS SPONSORED WALK
This will take place on Sunday 7th April leaving the Club at 12.00. The route will go up Burnley Road as far as the Hapton Inn. Then down Manchester Road to the canal bridge, turning left and following the towpath to Clayton and exiting onto the main road near Hare & Hounds. The next leg will be up Whalley Road and finally returning to the Club down Ribblesdale Avenue. There will be the chance to call at local hostelries along the way.

JUNIOR PLAYERS SPONSORED WALK
The junior walk will be on Sunday 14th April leaving the Club at 11.00. The route will be up Burnley Road, down Spout House Lane onto Lowergate, down to the canal bridge at Altham, along the canal bank as far as Queens Road West and back to the Club. For the younger junior members there will be a shorter route. The juniors will be accompanied by junior coaches / team managers along the way.

The bar will be open at the Club on your return ready for a well-earned drink. We need all players to get involved if possible please as the money raised will go towards improving the facilities at the Club.
