Accrington's legendary former captain and professional Alan Worsick returned to the club to present the awards at the club's Annual Presentation Night.

The great man presented prizes to two of his former team-mates from the Telegraph Cup winning side of 1986. Andy Stevenson was named Clubman of the Year for his work in coaching at all levels and Graham Lloyd won the 1st XI prizes for Most Runs and Most Catches.

David Ormerod was named Player of the Year and he also picked up the awards for Most Wickets and Best Batting Average. Simon Hanson won the Supporters Player of the Year Trophy and skipper Jimmy Hayhurst won the award for Best Bowling Average.

In the seconds, Gul Raja Khan was named Player of the Year and he also picked up the award for Best Bowling Average. Matt Schofield won the trophy for Best Batting Average and skipper Len Dewhurst won the trophy for Most Wickets in his penultimate season before retiring.

Jake Clarke won three awards. The promising youngster won the trophies for Most Runs in both the seconds and the thirds along with the 3rd XI Player of the Year Award. Another promising youngster Liam Smalley picked up two awards - Club Young Player of the Year and Best Batting Average in the 3rds. Ben Brierley won the award for Most Wickets in the 3rds and Bryn Hargreaves won the award for Best Bowling Average. Connor Tattersall won the Young Player Award for the 3rds.
