Thursday April 24th
Accrington beat Rawtenstall by 8 wickets in the 1st round of the Under 13 Cup. Bowling first Accrington bowled Rawtenstall out for 46, with Jacob Clarke taking 4-8 and Brad Juliff 3-2. In reply Accrington reached their target in 12 overs with Jacob having to retire on 30 n.o. and sensible batting from Ben Brierley, Brad and James Entwistle. It was an excellent all round team effort.

Saturday April 5th 2008
The Darts and Dominoes team have donated £100 to the Junior Section. The cash will go towards cricket balls and accessories and is greatly appreciated.

In the Under 11's Final, Accrington were narrowly beaten by Oswaldtwistle Immanuel.

In the Under 13's 3/4 Play-off Accrington comfortably beat Oswaldtwistle Immanuel to finish 3rd.

In the Under 15's 3/4 Play-off Accrington beat Rishton to finish 3rd.

The Under 15's have a new Team Manager, Alick Ormerod has agreed to take over from David Hargreaves, who will carry on assisting the team.

The Junior Outdoor Nets will have a new format this year.
The Under 9s and Under 11s will train on Wednesday evenings 6.30- 7.45pm weather permitting.

The Under 13's and Under 15's will train on Monday evenings 6.30 - 8pm weather permitting.

Nets start on Monday the 14th & Wednesday 16th April.

All juniors attending training are invited to become Junior members, and therefore will not need to pay on training night. The cost of Junior membership is £20 which includes entry to all first and second team home league games.

Club caps should be available soon.
