Lloyd returns to present Juniors Saturday November 18th 2006
A packed clubhouse saw former Lancashire and England star Graham Lloyd return to present the awards at Accrington's Junior Presentation Night. Two players picked up double awards. Matthew Donnelly was named Under 17s Player of the Year and he also picked up the award for Best Batting Average. Jacob Clarke won the prize for most runs and the Player of the Year trophy in the under 11s. Simon Hanson went one better, picking up the best batting average prize, the fielding prize and the Player of the Year trophy in the Under 15s. The presentation was followed by a spud pie supper and a raffle. Management Chairman Alven Burrows also presented Graham Lloyd with a recording of David Lloyd's interview with Phil Bird at the Cup Reunion Night in June.
