Simon Hanson picked up four awards at Accrington Cricket Club's Jnuior Presentation Night.

Simon, who made an impressive 2nd XI debut in the final match of the season was named 'Player of the year' in both the Under 15s and Under 13s. He also showed his all round ability by picking up prizes for most runs and best bowling average in the Under 13s. Whitewell Estate Agents Manager Victoria Cuddihy presented the awards in front of a packed clubhouse.

Victoria also re-presented the Under 13s with the runners up trophy they won at the Whitewell's sponsored cricket competition at Family Fun Day on August Bank Holiday Monday.

Junior Chairman John Pilling also made a special presentation to retiring Under 11s B Team Manager Peter Conroy who is standing down after two seasons at the helm. Third team veterans Mark Ashton and Ian Johnson will take over next season.
