Accrington 2nds hit the highest ever score by any Accrington team when they made 313 against Rishton at Thorneyholme Road today. Four players, Sajed Sadiq (60), Sagawat Hussain (76), Tofeeq Khan (51) and Scott Hudson (65) all made half centuries which is also a club record.

At one point Accrington were in trouble at 10-2 after losing Andrew Greenwood and Waheed Hussain without scoring but Sajed Sadiq (60) and Sagawat Hussain (76) put on 106 for the 3rd wicket as Accrington went on to bowl Rishton out for 151 to win their first match of the season by 162 runs.
