Accrington claimed the first silverware of 2003 by beating Great Harwood in a tremendous six a-side final at Moorhead School.

Accrington were crowned Hyndburn's first indoor Under 13 champions by beating their close rivals in a bowl out after the scores finished level and both teams lost an identical number of wickets.

Both managers and the tournament organizer Hyndburn Assistant Sports Development Officer Lee Boyer agreed on a bowl out which Accrington won 2-0. Mark Williams and Matt Schofield hit the target for the champions. Other team members were Simon Hanson, Josh Armstrong, Phillip Green and Waqar and the man with the silver touch, Michael Donnelly, was the manager. The team now go to Cleveleys for a place in the Lancashire championships.
