Gujar Khan took the honours at the Accrington and District Cricket League's annual Presentation Night at Accrington Cricket Club.

The club achieved the double of the league championship and Harry Wood Cup in its' first season in the league. A margin of 9 points separated the champions from runners up Attock.

Gujar Khan captain Akthar Hussain received the trophies from former Whalley Road captain and current Lancashire League umpire Walter Wilcock.

Gujar Khan all rounder Shakoor Ali won the 'Man of the match' trophy for the Harry Wood Cup Final for an unbeaten 25 in his sides 4 wicket win over Kashmir.

A special trophy was presented to Attock pair Abrar Shah and Kashif Anwar, who put on a league record stand of 197 against Accrington A on King Georges on May 31st with both players hitting centuries - a feat never achieved before. Attock all rounder Liaquat Khan was named as 'Player of the year' for the second time with Kashmir opener Mushtaq Ahmed winning the trophy for most runs (465 at 58.1). Mazar Khan of Gujar Khan had the best batting average of 63.5 and Nadeem Mohammed was the leading wicket taker with 26 at 9.4. All Stars paceman Khizer Hayatt topped the bowling averages with 19 wickets at 8.4.

League Secretary Susan Astbury, of Clayton Youth Club, won the Executive Trophy and Taverners picked up the Sportsmanship and Efficiency Trophy.
