Mohsin
Ahmed was rewarded for his magnificent season with no fewer than five
trophies at Accrington Cricket Club's Annual Presentation Night.

The
young opener, who became the youngest player in club history to score
500 runs in a season, picked up the Presidents Cup for most runs, the
Players Player of the year, the Heavenly Choir Trophy for Supporters player
of the year, the Holden Trophy for most catches and a new trophy donated
in memory of Jack Douthwaite for best overall performance from a player
under 19 in the first team.
Tariq
Hussain won two trophies, the Vice Chairman's Cup and the County Cup for
his outstanding winning match performance at Burnley when he hit an unbeaten
70 and took 3-58.

Matt
Wilson picked up another new prize, the Dewhurst Trophy which was presented
in memory of the late Lindon Dewhurst for the fastest half century, which
came off just 28 balls against Lowerhouse.
Adam
Greenwood won the Seddon Cup for best batting average and skipper Damian
Clarke was rewarded for a season of hard work with the Chairman's Cup.
In
the seconds, skipper Len Dewhurst won the trophy for the outstanding performance
which was at Rishton when he turned in two career best performances, 8-32
and an innings of 47. Sajjad Sadiq was the player of the year.

Stuart
Crabtree won the Ashwell Trophy for the most improved player in the thirds
in a season that saw him hit his maiden fifty, bowl and keep wicket for
the team. Andy Greenwood won the Thompson and Partners Trophy for player
of the year.
Andy Thompson was named as A Team player of the year and Adam Donnelly
picked up the same award for the Under 17s.
Graeme
Sneddon picked up a special award for his century in the thirds at Enfield
and James Hayhurst won the Edwin Airey Trophy for Junior player of the
year.
Adam
Barnes retained the Martin Trophy as the club's leading wicket keeper
after picking up the LET Tankard at the Lancashire League's Annual Dinner
the night before.

the juniors.
