Man of the match Jacob Clarke hit a competition best 47 to help Accrington to an 8 run win at Rishton. Coming in at 48-5, Clarke made 47 from 35 balls with four fours and a six, adding 52 with professional Ockert Erasmus (34). Clarke then claimed the vital scalp of Rishton professional Shaun von Berg for 34. He also took a catch off Erasmus (3-16) to dismiss Scott Greaves (15). Bradley Boddie had earlier taken 4-32 in Accrington's innings of 118-9. Boddie also hit 12 and Matt Nuttall an unbeaten 14 in Rishton's reply of 110-8.
