An unbeaten 64 by professional Dan Marsh helped Todmorden do the double over bottom club Accrington after an 8 wicket win at Centre Vale. Accrington professional Chad Grainger hit 52 in his sides 142-5 from 34 overs in a reduced overs game. Grainger, who hit six fours and a six, added 90 for the 3rd wicket with skipper Paul Barratt (46) after openers Mark Stevenson (0) and Steve Birtwistle (6) had fallen to Alex Scholefield and John Barker respectively. Stuart Parker removed Granger with Marsh sending back Barratt and Tofeeq Khan (10) who were both caught by Brian Heywood. Tariq Hussain (4 not out) and Scot Greaves (6 not out) were both unbeaten when the innings closed on 142-5. Greaves had skipper Stuart Priestley (6) caught by Grainger at 25 and Justin Greenwood removed Heath Kennedy (25) at 83 but Marsh hit seven fours and two sixes, adding an unbroken 61 with Gary Proctor (36 not out) to see Todmorden home in the 27th over.
