Professional Franklyn Rose took a league best 7-56 to condemn bottom club Accrington to a second defeat of the weekend this time by 6 wickets at Enfield. Accrington professional Chad Grainger top scored with 49 in Accrington's 113 all out before falling to his opposite number. Rose also sent back Paul Barratt (3), Martin Whittle (9), Tofeeq Khan (6), Scott Greaves (2), Azad Akram (0) and Len Dewhurst (3) with Neil Holmes sending back opener Mark Stevenson (9). Mick Devenney also removed Wayne Roberts (3) and skipper Brian Holmes (1) leaving Mick Wilson unbeaten on 8. Greaves cleaned up skipper Andy Barker (1) at 4 and Grainger removed Holmes (12) at 37. Mas Ahmed hit 42 before falling to Khan at 80 and eight runs later rose was trapped in front by the same bowler. Gary Barker (28 not out) and Devenney (13 not out) saw Enfield home after 33 overs.
