Harry Wood Cup holders Accrington A were knocked out of this season's competition at the semi final stage by Kashmir at Bullough Park. Kashmir batted first and made 188-8 thanks mainly to an opening stand of 95 between former Accrington players Mushtaq Ahmed (44) and Ibrar Raja (50) who survived a dropped catch in the first over to make a swift half century, being particularly severe on leg spinner Adam Donnelly, who also saw him dropped on the boundary. Zaed Hussain was Accrington's most successful bowler, taking 3-20 after being belatedly brought into the attack by a desperate captain.

Accrington lost wickets regularly and only the assistance of 38 extras helped the score into three figures. Paul Burrows top scored with 27 with Gul Khan taking 5-20 and Nadeem Mohammed, a member of the Accrington side that won this competition five years ago, taking 3-14.
